LOL I'm pretty sure I selected to know by email but they haven't emailed me or maybe they did and it didn't work..and I know my email address is right because I checked it on my Harvard login page and they emailed me always asking for finaid stuff...maybe my application was so bad that they decided to toss it out the window? LOL.

Don’t worry I still haven’t got it either.

I am presently facing the same inconvenience.

same - no email

Wanna go punch them?

I understand everyone’s frustration.

same here…ugh

This seems to be affecting a notable proportion of the applicants.

We’ll share the glory when the result comes out though.

"We expect that about 5% of our emails will be undeliverable. …Some service providers will not accept our emails when we send a large volume of messages through their servers at one time…If you do not receive your email decision, your official letter will arrive by post within a few days. We will be unable to accommodate requests for duplicate emails. "

I got this from the Harvard website…I really hope that we don’t have to wait for letters in the mail! From what I saw on the Official RD page, most of the people without an email yet are Hotmail users…

According to the other post they’re sending out emails until midnight, and if we haven’t gotten it yet we can call the school in the morning. I guess that’s that. The result won’t change. Stay strong guys.

I’m obsessively refreshing my inbox on my hotmail…

Yes; Hotmail was among the first service providers to yield Stanford’s RD decisions, however.

But will the Office of Admission be open tomorrow?

D has gone to bed. Packed for an 8 day cruise. She has accepted a rejection but it would be nice to have the e-mail to finalize the decisions. She has accepted UNC with merit $$ which will cost us next to $0 for tuition. It still would be nice to have the decision.

I don’t get it; if we don’t have our email by midnight, we call up and they give us the verdict over the phone? Oh God, that sounds awful.

I am curious as to what personal information we will need to supply in order for the decision to be communicated to us - that is, if a phone call is a valid method of resolving this situation.

I have a hotmail account and have not heard yet :(

based on what account do we know that “emails are still being sent until midnight”? and if we call tomorrow morning, will they for sure tell us our results?

I suppose that I could attempt calling between classes tomorrow morning.
