Mifune- Yeah, that’s the number I called. I had to wait through about 2 minutes of talk about info sessions…the admissions info was sandwiched into the very end.

ClamzoniofRI- From what I made of it, it sounded like they would definitely tell us (they said they wouldn’t release the info to anyone but the student, not even a parent, but I’m not sure how they will make sure you’re a student), but you can call the number if you’d like to make sure. There’s a long prerecorded message.

Well, that’s it for me tonight…I guess I will just call in the morning. Good luck! I’m not expecting much since I got rejected from Princeton and Yale, but I need closure : )

Yes, I will be firmly pursuing this tomorrow. To my great enthusiasm, Harvard’s decision will finally lower the curtain on the college admissions experience.

I don’t know about your hotmail but my hotmail account shows a number of spams I got immediately when I log in, so I know when I have a new mail in my spam box. And I don’t have any.

I’m an AOL user, and I haven’t gotten my email, either.
I double checked my application and made sure that I selected the ‘please email my decision to me’ button, but no email.
Bleh… closure would be nice XD

This is sort of off-topic, but if I accidentally selected to receive notice by snail mail only, can I still call Harvard’s admissions office tomorrow and ask them what my decision is?

I use hotmail, and I never got an e-mail either…

So I just called Harvard… which really was nerve-wrecking… and the Office person just asked me for my name and a couple of my test scores to confirm who I am… and told me that I got accepted!!!

The number is: 617-495-1551, btw, for those of you who need it.

So… I think we can put aside the “no e-mail=reject” conspiration theory…

All decisions were mailed out yesterday. The timing of when you receive the snail mail decision likely depends on whether or not you were accepted. Last year, the acceptance packets were sent through priority mail or something similar while rejections were just regular mail (I received the acceptance packet in Houston 2 days after decisions).

If your in MA, you are likely to get the decision today or tomorrow (there’s mail on Good Friday).

Oh god I am freaking out! I got rejected from yale yesterday, and harvard still hasn’t sent out the email! I doubt I got in, but I want everything to be over.
HOTMAIL WHY HAVE YOU FAILED ME!!

Okay, I am a hotmail user, so I went and checked my junk mail folder and found the Harvard letter there. IF YOU ARE A HOTMAIL USER, CHECK THERE!!! So, I didn’t get into Harvard or Yale, but I did get into Duke (first choice),UVA, UChicago, and Baylor so I am pretty happy anyway!!

If you haven’t gotten an email, Good luck!
If you were rejected, yeah it sucks, but you can still get a quality education!
If you were accepted, you are freakin’ amazing, and I hope you do well at the school you pick!

Peace and love 'cause it is all good in the hood!!
