I passed in my app more than 1 and half month ago, and still haven't gotten contacted for an interview. There is a girl from my school (double-legacy) who passed in her app at the end of December and already got contacted. Is this normal? By the way, I'm applying to CAS and the place I live is nowhere "isolated or deprived" of interviewers.

Not a bad sign. She is a 2x legacy tho. Dont worry if you dont get one, and if you do, dont worry if it goes badly. Cornell says vey much that interviews are non-evaluative.

Don't worry about it. The cornell clubs in many areas are very unorganized, and they may never contact you at all. You can get in contact with them and request one though if you want.

As it has been said, it has absolutely no impact on your admissions decision, so if you feel you don't need to talk to an alum, then don't worry about it.

I am a Cornell development case and triple legacy and I have not been contacted for an interview. Two of my friends, who are nothing except for awesome people, have been. I doubt it has anything to do with your legacy status.

wait the interview has nothing to do with the decision?
