uhh UCI vs UCLA

holy ****, UCI Vista Del Campo housing is so effing gorgeous -- community pool, bbq pits, rec rooms, holly crapppp. apartments actually have KITCHENS and living rooms, etc

i'm jealous (going to UCLA reiber terrace)

bbq pits? thats awesome.

Boring city.

Jesus H. Christ son, BBQ pits are getting you excited? You do realize those people still have to live in IRVINE?

the notion of being able to cook gets me excited!

go to ucla, get an apartment?

win/win

When do apartments NOT have kitchens/living rooms? The dorms at UCI are no different from any other UC campus. CSU have better dorms.

Come on, man. UCI vs. UCLA, Los Angeles is way more fun. The campus is way more beautiful too.

dood. bro. chad. hear me out:

ucla on campus dorms/apartments: no kitchens. period. none. nada. not even communal ones.

uci: a kitchen in the res hall to share w/ dorm mates. still better than no kitchen at all?

im just sayinggggg…

i dont get how they can call it an “apartment” when there isn’t a kitchen? have you ever heard of any apartment that didn’t have one?

Youre debating to go to irvine over ucla for a kitchen?!
are you okay?

the apartments are not on campus. there are “suites” which have several rooms, a common area and a bathroom.

i think the reason many people want on-campus is so they don’t have to deal with the cooking thing. that’s my 2nd reason for living on campus.

UCLA-owned apartments do have kitchens, rshaan. Maybe you should put in a housing change request if you don’t like Rieber Terrace?

most people who go to UCI live off campus because its not hard to find a nice apartment

I know Irvine is a dead city, but is it expensive to live there off-campus?

I heard if you have good connections, then its not that hard. and besides i heard its really nice off campus near the beaches, but then you need to beat the commute to get to school

but then again it might be better than the traffic at other uc campuses

dude. UCLA>UCI . UCI’s campus is too fragmented for my tastes.

Seriously, what’s with those weird building structures?

i like to think of UCI as mini-UCLA and UCD as mini-Berkeley.

UC Santa Cruz as mini-Santa Barbara and UC Merced as mini-Riverside
