aight so i just visited the other day and dartmouth is definitely my first choice. i'll be applying early decision.....dartmouth tends to take 2 or 3 kids from my school every year (definitely the most popular ivy, probably the most popular top 20 school), i was kinda wondering if anybody has heard of a trend like this and if that would benefit me. but yeah back to chances....

thanks

hey i am interviewing this week and i was wondering if you had any advice or any clue to what made your interview go "extremely well"?

sorry I cant comment on your chances - no expert

You're certainly in the running, but you just can't accurately conjecture any more than that. Definitely apply ED. My rank was somewhat better and SATs were a little better than yours and I played the same two sports, but not as accomplished as you in them, and I was W/L applying RD.

You totally have a great chance and ED will help, but its not certain.

about the interview....it sounds cliche but really just "be yourself." i personally think the key to doing a good interview is to be relaxed, and if you are trying to project some other personality or just trying to list all your accomplishments you will have a hard time being relaxed and having a good conversation. some questions if i can remember correctly....what is your high school like? what activities do you do? what are you looking forward to about senior year? thats all i can remember, then you are given a chance to ask your own questions....you can bring a list if you want. its like 20-25 minutes, be relaxed and you'll be fine.
