Uhhmmm...kind of panicked here.

So my second SAT II score, which is required, was sent from the College Board on November 20th. Yet on my applicant status page, it still does not have it as officially reported, meaning they either never received it, or just never bothered to download it.

I sent the school an email but the committee adjourns tomorrow!

Is it possible that they just chose not to download it? Or is it possible that the College Board messed up and they will not be able to consider my application? Or maybe they just forgot to update my status page?

I am having a bit of an irrational meltdown over this; I was trying to prepare myself for a possible rejection. All of my hard work to apply early going down the drain simply because of an error on the College Board's part? That is something I cannot cope with.

Take it easy, dude(tte)! Though that would be hypocritical of me, seeing as how I was in a similar situation and totally freaked out. But anyway, it’s likely that your Harvard application status just hasn’t been updated yet. Check your score sending status on College Board; that should be accurate.

Hope it all works out for you. But if it doesn’t, at least take comfort in the fact that I registered for this account on College Confidential just to soothe your worries! Haha, jk :)

Good luck with everything.

@ Jaysha, my application status hasn’t been updated either (though for me that’s a good thing, since my November SAT II scores were quite bad). But I’m personally wondering if that could mean something. I mean, November 20th (according to the College Board sending date) was more than 2 weeks ago. You’d think they’d at least have updated them at this point. I’m thinking that perhaps this means we both got a definite decision already (i.e. either outright accepted or rejected), and the committee didn’t want to bother looking for our November scores since they had enough information to make that decision…

Thank you both. Calgirl I am unfortunately thinking that in the case of either outright accepted or rejected, it would only make sense to put me in the latter category. My app was not all that impressive I don’t think. I guess I am just hoping for a miracle here. :)
