I only listed the EC's and Award I put on my application. Can I also submit a resume with my application?

Can I apply to UI as a safety? Thanks

It depend son which college you're applying to but I would say hell yeah!

Oh I forgot to mention that I'm applying to the Science College and I'm from PA

There is no "Science College." Do you mean the College of Arts & Sciences or the College of Engineering? Engineering requires higher stats than A&S. However, you should be a safety for both as long as you apply early (and get everything necessary in early including transcript, test scores). You should cover in your essays anything you want to put on a resume, which if submitted is likely to be ignored.

Yeah I mean the Liberal Arts and Science College... so i have a pretty good chance, even though im oos?

Yes, UIUC evaluates OOS for admission on same basis as in-state.

you're in Chem Eng if you want it

what makes you say that?

Hmm, safety. I've got one thing to say: don't come here. We don't need people who ask such stupid questions.

because you have stellar stats

Alright thats good news, I'll definatly apply early. Do they take the highest combined SAT scores?? and are the essays less important if I'm applying to the Engineering School?

UIUC uses that test with the highest composite score for admission and does not take highest subscores from different tests. Write good essays. For engineering, their importance is inversely proportional to stats (the higher the stats the less important, the lower the stats the more important). However, even with the high stats, what you face is that good essays won't add much but a bad essay could create second thoughts.

Oh in that case my highest SAT score would be a 1470: 750 CR and 720 M. Does that change much?

it probably moves you from safety to safety-match
