My D sent a mail asking if there are more interview invites but no response so far. If we hear anything I will update here.

On another note, we read that UIC faculty went on strike last week. I am not sure if that will cause any delay on this process.

And yes some UIC faculty were on strike but Med school faculty did not join the strike. However I am not sure if the GPPA staff is part of the strike or the part of Med school faculty?

Nope! Last year I saw they did dentistry interviews after med so I’m hoping well find out soon. i also read that they sent it on a rolling basis so im very hopeful still

I don’t think more interview invites will come out for medicine, because they already had an info session for those who were invited for the interviews a few days ago.

The deadline for GPPA Med was 2/1/23. Anyone got rejection yet?

They are not done with the review yet. It is still in progress

I thought they said whoever did not receive invite by feb 1st is considered rejected .

I checked and I was told, once they are done with the review, they will send rejection letter for anyone not selected but as of now review is still on.

This is the part of the letter we received on 1/13.

Interviews will take place by Zoom, starting in the week of January 24 and run through early February. The program will reach out to you directly in the next week with detailed information on the date and time of your interview.

Final decisions will be made once all interviews have been completed. You can expect to receive your final decision on or about March 1.
