UIC GPPA or UIUC for undergrad?

Yo, so I understand i'm posted in a rather biased forum, but oh well.

I got accepted to UIC's GPPA pharmacy and UIUC for undergrad (Arts and Sciences). The price is about the same, so what it just boils down to is which offers a better educational quality.

I'm absolutely torn between the two because while i know UIUC is this public ivy, I know UIC's pharm school is one of the best in the country.

Should I come to UIUC for undergrad then apply for pharmacy school or go directly to UIC?

UIC GPPA without a doubt. The only reason you would want a university with higher prestige is so that you could get in to a good pharmacy school. Since you already have, then why jeopardize it? One less thing for you to worry about your senior year of college.

On the side note, congratulations on your acceptances :)

If you’re pretty set on pharmacy, then UIC might be the better option. If you’re hesitant and not fully committed, then UIUC might be better. Remember, many many many people switch majors, career plans, and interests change. If you end up not liking pre-pharm and pharmacy, would you want to get a degree and go to a school you do not like? Granted the differences isn’t huge between the two, but something to think about

also, congratulations of both!
