Deciding between the two. Would appreciate any and all input!

I just sent you a message.

@upstream I’m curious what your suggestion is - @ilinois1234 I think this choice will be somewhat dependent on your finances. UIC will be wayyyyyy cheaper and the Chicago medical school is the biggest in the country with a lot of options. RPI is a better science UG than UIC IMO and you save a year. Do you know which of the 3 campuses you will be assigned to at UIC? That might make a difference too no?

If you have any specific questions about RPI and UIC, my D is at RPI and I know 2 students in medical school at UIC but not the GPPA program.

Let us know what you decided and why so we could help others in the future. Thanks. & Good luck. Congrats.

Debt load, debt load debt load! Guarantee in that order.

Thanks everyone for your advice!

I decided to attend UIC GPPA because of cost, proximity to home, and location in Chicago.
I knew RPI/AMC would have a greater undergrad experience than UIC, but I will just have to get over that.
Good luck to everyone on your post high school journey!

Good luck at UIC!

@illinois1234, Good luck to you! You’ll really appreciate being close to home during undergrad and in medical school.
