I just received my acceptance letter from UIC(University of Illinois at Chicago) and I'm in a pickle whether I should attend. I was planning to attend Northern Illinois, but I'm not sure now. I applied to both NIU and UIC's LAS undecided program.

Since you applied to those schools, I would assume you are familiar with the schools.

NIU is going to give you more of a "university experience". You'll be in a town where the school is the primary influence. Dorms and student functions will be the center of social life.

UIC is going to give you the experience of living in one of the country's great cities... and oh by the way, you're going to college as well. Social life is only restricted by your imagination.

The education will be great at either school.

So which do you want: they typical college experience or live in Chicago for four years and get a degree while doing it.
