UIUC 2015 Decisions Thread

I’m a transfer for LAS and I haven’t heard back yet. Everything was submitted on January 31st so I’m a little nervous. Maybe every department is different?

Perhaps the applicant pool was larger for your intended major. I applied to chemistry, by the way.

Yeah that’s possible, I was Economics. I’m not quite sure how they do it so I’m just waiting here haha.

hey, for those of you who applied for transfer, what’s your admission type? I heard some students are “transfer junior”, some are “transfer sophomore”. But mine just remained as “transfer”… is that normal???

If you’re talking about when you check your status online, for admission type mine says transfer junior.

Mine says transfer too.

@Sabrina: Mine says transfer junior; not sure why yours says just “Transfer”.

QUESTION: How long did it take for you guys to get a formal letter, from the time the website was updated? I was accepted last Thursday, and haven’t even received an email…

The letter was dated the day my decision was posted (or very near it) and I received it about a week after that (and I live in Illinois).
