I’m scared… “what if i …?”
less than 50 hours…!!! we will all find out !!!

If your major suddenly changes to DGS, or Undecided, that means you’ve been admitted, but not to your requested program. Bioengineering is a VERY selective engineering program. Although they cause a non-display of the decision field until 5PM today, the program field still displays, so, if it changes, it means you’ve been admitted to the university most likely, but not to your initial program of choice.

The vast majority of decisions are in the database…The webpage just won’t display the decision field until 5PM.

Calling admissions and telling them that you know a decision has been made will illicit no response of use. You need to wait until 5pm today. Only then will priority applicants know for sure if they’ve been accepted to their program of choice, offered admission to an alternate program, deferred, or denied.

IF your major hasn’t switched over to Undecided, and is still on the college/major you initially applied to. Is there still a possibility that you will be admitted to another college?
I’m just wondering because I applied to engineering, it was a long (basically nonexistent) shot, and it still says engineering on my application status. I’m just worried because I know i probably didn’t make it into engineering, and I’m just hoping they admit me into DGS.

All we are doing is actually guessing. We also guessed that your decision, turning into DGS means that you are’re accepted to DGS. We have no way to be sure until we receive our decisions.

I totally understand that you guys are just giving it your best guess, but it still makes me feel better to kind of have an idea on what’s going on and what to expect!
Thanks for replying!

“All decisions for priority applicants will be posted on Dec. 17th at 5pm, CST. If you log in before 5pm, you will need to refresh to view your decision. You may also need to scroll down to see the decision.”

I’ll be deeply disappointed if I am deferred or rejected today, so here’s hoping that doesn’t happen! :)

Does anyone know whether we can be notified of scholarships at this point or that comes later?

I have 5 total APs. lots of EC’s, volunteering in china

Has the U of I really become a “first choice” school ?

From my days it was a “safety net” school except for the engineering and accounting program (the days of the movie Risky Business - “it looks like the University of Illinios”).

It is interesting to read the posts of young people on edge about being accepted. Good luck to you all and GO ILLINI !

2 more hours~~~
