@ivycollege i have applied to UCBerkley and Plan to apply to Carnegie Mellon, Stanford and Michigan Ann Harbor.
UIUC’s decision comes out on the 17th and I am extremely nervous.

Too late to apply to UMich. Their EA deadline ended on Nov.1.
After that they have rolling admissions for which you are a month and a half late… And its UMich, its CoE seats get filled up very quickly …

Let me give you an example:
Last year, this girl with 1850 SAT (superscore in 3 attempts) and 78% in the boards, 50% in 11th, with broken english (she wanted to be chanced on cc) got in. She applied in mid-october

This guy with 93 and 96 in cbse 10th and 12th, 2200 sat, 2300sat2 got waitlisted. He ended up going to Brown. He applied in late december, much after the EA deadline.

UMich’ rolling review starts taking place on January 1.

If you submitted your app on Nov 1 (just after EA ended ) ur app will get reviewed on Jan.1. If you submitted it on Nov.2 then it gets reviewed on Jan.2 and so on …

Considering that UMich gets 300 applications per day (after Nov 1) and you apply on Dec.10 … there would be 12000 applications before u!!!
