UIUC and Purdue Computer Science chances

Hey guys I’m currently in 12th grade, studying in India. I’m gonna send me applications very soon so I’m very very nervous. Could you guys tell me how much of a chance you think I’ve got in applying to UIUC and Purdue CS?

9th: 9.0 CGPA
10th: 10.0 CGPA
11th: 8.4 CGPA
12th(mid terms): 9.2 CGPA

SAT 1: 1920
ACT: 33
SAT 2: 800Chem 800Physics 900Maths2

ECs:
-State level swimmer,
-football team captain,
-great record in MUNs, even organized one in my school and acted as Secretary General (my school is extremely academically oriented, and very difficult examinations),
-won battle of bands twice,
-have collected and donated large sums of money, as well as clothing to poor children living in villages near my city,
-qualified to Google Code Jam 3rd round twice,
-qualified to Facebook Hacker Cup 3rd round,
-qualified Zonal Computing Olympiad (couldn’t appear for INOI),
-ranked 5th in a coding competition organized by BITS Pilani(one of the prestigious institutes of India),
-been invited to IIT Bombay, several colleges in Delhi Universities for higher rounds of coding competitions and technology fests,
-developed an app which is up on the Play Store for Android.

Essay: As you can tell by my ECs, I am very very very fond of Computer science and want to pursue a career in research. I think I’ve conveyed that in my essays quite well.

Thank you!

bump…?

I think you will probably be admitted to Purdue, and have a solid chance to get admitted to both.

Thanks for the reply @Much2learn
How about NYU CS? And what do you think is my weakest point?

UIUC CS would be a reach for you and anyone from OOS. Your ACT is below their admission average last year. Purdue should be a match to high match.

@billcsho I’m taking the October ACT. I’m getting about 35-36 on practice tests, so I’m probably gonna get a 34 or a 35 on the actual test. Is that gonna be good enough? And what about NYU?

I’m from Indiana and I know Purdue for sure is a high match since they consistently accepted my class mates with SATs in the 1800 - 2000 range. NYU might be a reach unless you do get 34 or 35 on ACT

Thanks @holi47
