<p>One of my prof's went to UIUC back in the 70's. At the time, the supplementary fees for aviation classes were automatically waved (like all other fees) for RA's and TA's. As a result, most of the people he knew who got their Ph.D.'s there also left iwth pilot's licenses.</p>
<p>Does anyone know if this is still true, or did it go by the wayside?</p>
