Hello! I’m an upcoming senior and I’m interested in applying to the Bioengineering department at the University of Illinois. I have a 31 on my ACT. I’ve taken or will take every AP course offered at my school (Chemistry, U.S. History, Calculus AB, and English Language and Composition). I’ve also taken an introductory biology course at a local college. I have a 3.97 GPA (I got one B+ in English 9). I’m also involved in many extracurricular activities at my school. Do you think it is likely that I will be accepted into the Bioengineering program? I’m also considering beginning in Chemical and Biomolecular engineering then transferring to Bioengineering after a year or two. Would this be possible? Any advise would be appreciated! Thanks!
