I got into Chemical/Biomecular Engineering program of UIUC with ACT 33, SAT 2230, GPA 3.98/4.0, decent awards, and 800 on all of my SAT subject tests. I wasn’t really interested in attending to UIUC, until I received the University Achievement Scholarship, worth of $12,000 per year.

Now I’m just gonna further await from other schools and carefully consider my options. *Fingers Crossed

where do you check for scholarships?

I was rejected from UIUC . This has made me seriously rethink my college list. Please advise ASAP. I am really scared.

Son was accepted to College of Engineering, Mechanical, First Choice; OOS; ACT 33; GPA 3.86 uw 4.55 weighted…

I didn’t get in for business unassigned (bummer), but I got in for undeclared under division of general studies.
ACT: 25 (27 superscored)
GPA: since it was before senior grades were updated, I applied with a 3.544
7 honors, 4 APs, French national honors society
Extracurriculars: Speech team 2 years, marching band 2 years (went to Macy’s day parade), multimedia production crew 1 year, service club all 4 years (planning trip to Guatemala in spring of 2016). I do a lot of volunteer work.

Hopefully everything turned out okay, and if it didn’t, then it’s okay. It might not be okay now, but eventually it will be. I wish everyone the best for the rest of these decisions! It is just so nerve-wracking that I can’t breathe.

@tiwari124 You will get into a couple of those schools. Many of those schools are very selective, though.

Did we have to submit the “Scholarship Supplement Form” to receive a scholarship? I didn’t, but it is allowing me to access the form, so is it too late?

Son is in College of Business. Congrats to all!!

My S got in as Chancellor’s Scholar
