******* UIUC Class of 2020 Results Thread *********

With the admissions results coming out in just afew weeks, I figure the creation of this thread would be suitable.
Post your admission results once they’re out! Best of luck everyone!

ANYTIME YOU SEE A SPACE AFTER THE LEFT BRACKET, REMOVE IT. THAT INCLUDES THE SPACES BEFORE “COLOR” AND “B” ON THE FIRST 4 LINES (2 THAT YOU WOULD ACTUALLY USE).

Bro… did way much efforts doing this…!!..!!..!!
U must have checked if any other thread exists and got your agitations erased by putting in 10% of effort there that u did here!! <:-P

Hi,

Could someone chance me please?

ACT - 34 (34M, 35E, 34R, 31S)
Superstore - (35M, 35E, 34R, 34S)
My school doesn’t provide a GPA, but I was in the top 1% in my state
I’m from India
ECs - taken a bunch of online classes, prefect at my school (one of the top leadership positions), head of quiz club, attended NASA program, cultural exchange in Italy, had a job in IT department of a loan firm, worked at an NGO for a year ( I’ve taken a gap year) where I taught computer skills, and a few other minor things
I have stellar recos from my computer science and Chem teachers, as well as from my boss at the NGO

Major - CS
I’ve put up Undeclared as my second choice

Another question: if I don’t get into CS, which is highly likely, will undeclared be good enough?
Thanks xx

I’m an Indian female btw

@ub1997 You’re definitely good enough for undeclared. CS admissions seems very unpredictable, but I’d say you have a good chance with those EC’s

@ub1997 it’s probably not the safest idea. It’s not a given to transfer into engineering, and CS is the hardest to get into. You can always try, but if you’re admitted to a good CS program elsewhere it would be a safer bet than trying to transfer in.

Hi can someone chance me last minute

[] SAT I 2120 (700 math 720 CR 700 W)
[
] Weighted GPA: 4.40
[] Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): top 5%
[
] IB (place score in parenthesis): full IB diploma, 43/45 and 41/42

Good ECs and some award but nothing major because my school is located in a small town in the middle east. I am international student from Oman.
Applying for aerospace engineering. I m also female. Will that help my chances?

Why bother? Decisions (which is what this thread is for) will be out in 2 hours.

Got accepted, but not into Comp engineering like i wanted, just undeclared into division of general studies. Is it going to be extremely difficult to get into engineering now?
