Does anyone have feedback on the Information science + Data science major in the School of Information sciences in UIUC? I am trying to understand do students get the same access to career opportunities and attend job fairs similar to CS major?

Daughter of a friend is doing a start up internship this summer and already has one next summer with Price Waterhouse, from Michigan’s program .
She already knows or familiar with 5 CS languages. It’s how you use the data. The ones I met seem to be in demand and the undergraduate and graduate students really love the school of information. They all loved their subspecialty. I would do a deep dive and learn about it and see if it’s a good fit.
