At UIUC I would study Community health and at Iowa I would study AT/ Pre-PT (but I have to be top 16 in my class) I want to stay close to home (Chicago) but not too close. I like urban life which is why I didn't like UIUC but my sister said that the campus life/ town would make it feel more like a city. And both Iowa and UIUC are considered small cities/ towns. I understand that ultimately it is my decision but I wanted to see other people's opinions. I feel Iowa is good because I want to be a PT but a community health degree opens more doors if that plan doesn't workout. Also, I asked a couple Graduate schools if they look at majors and they said that I could be an English major and still get into DPT (they said they accept anyone under the sun who qualify) so I'm not worried about which major helps me get into DPT. Also, I know about 20-30 kids at or are going to go to UIUC and only 3 maybe 4 people for Iowa. When I visited I liked both campuses equally (it's hard to say because I make sure to enjoy myself at any campus I go to so i like the last college I went to see better than the time before even if I'm not considering that college. (I know that sounds weird and stupid but hey that me). What do you think?

What are the cost differences?

How much does each cost BEFORE LOANS?

Iowa (including the scholarships I received) is $23-25,000 and UIUC is about $29-31,000 (these are approximations it may be more or less.

Frankly, I think Iowa is fine and the lower cost will make you glad once you graduate and continue with professional school.

ok so looking it up Iowa would cost $27,281 and UIUC would cost $30,150 (this is before FAFSA)
