I worked hard in high school, and I happy to have been accepted to wisco:) I am going to major in communications/LAS, and I was just wondering which of these schools is more impressive for that field? If I get into UIUC this Friday, which would be ranked higher? They are both smart, I just can’t decide if I do get into UIUC:P Thank you, and p.s. please don’t make fake hateful comments just to dis or something.

The reality is that there is not enough difference for it to matter. Go wherever you get the better deal. If the cost is similar, go where you feel the better vibe. Both are higher end flagship schools.
Both schools are excellent - congratulations on your acceptance to Wisconsin! Hopefully you will also have good news on Friday from UIUC. That aside, should you get into both schools, tour them and get a feel for which school you like better. Both schools are academically strong, but they have their own feel. Also, if one of the schools is out of state, that school will probably be more considerably more expensive unless you have scored some incredible financial aid.
I’d say they’re roughly similar in terms of reputation.
I would go with the cheaper option (if there’s a big difference)
Visit both of them and go to the one that you like the best.
Madison is a great college town if you don’t mind cold winters.
