<p>So I logged into my Istart program to sign up for a summer registration date and i found out that all the dates were before august. I live in taiwan which is thousands of miles away and i would really prefer not get to school so early, when school starts on the twentyforth. But then i also hear that if you go late all the good classes and times will be gone. what should i do? Are there any registration dates in like mid august</p>
<p>Yes, there are dates in August. You can find out the dates in the Istart program. You click on Frequently Asked Questions on the main page. Then it pops up a list. Click on “Registration” and then click on “when are the program registration dates”. Then click on August programs. But those are just the dates. It doesnt give you any info. so heres the other info i found on a different page–</p>

<p>Only thing is you may not get some good classes. But hey we freshman usually get suckey classes anyway. If its what you gotta do, you shouldnt get too stressed out about it- unless you can possibly come in june but that would seem difficult and pricey (if youre worried about that). Probably a lot of other transfers are in the same predicament.</p>
<p>Hi Chayze. Good news! The last dates in August (I believe its the 17th-20something) are primarily for out of state and international students. During each registration block throughout the summer, new seats are released for primary freshmen courses to assure that early registers don’t take all the spots. So gen ed’s taken by upperclassmen might be gone, but core freshman classes will not.</p>
<p>Do you know the last date for taking placement testing? We have to take chemistry and math a week before summer registration.</p>

<p>I think they will post the August choices on Istart later on in the year. Right now I think they are just concentrating on the june dates. </p>

<p>If you need an August date, all you have to do is call the office. That’s what I did and the next day, the August option was available in the drop down list :)</p>
<p>Yeah thanks k2031233. I just did that and I have my date all set up on August 17th lol. It was done in a few minutes, pretty fast.</p>
