Ifitasova2159, I think as long as you’re not a freshman, you can apply to live there. At least that’s how it is in all the other “upperclassmen” dorms, such as Nugent.

Well no UIUC for me unfortunately. I got my denial today. A bit disappointed, but I still have some other options open. I wish everyone the best for those that were admitted!

Roybot what were ur stats?

Accepted to Computer Science program in COE today :)

Hey congrats Baldrsky. Withcy, I was transferring from a community college as a junior so I didn’t submit my ACT. My GPA was a 3.63/4.0. I had A’s and B’s and I would have transferred with 53 credits. I submitted all the materials for the app by Jan 29. I didn’t really have many ECs so I don’t know how big of a role that plays.

Just got accepted to UIUC Aerospace Engineering program!!

Is anyone applying to the college of business?

Hey Kevin you Mind sharing your stats amount of credits completed

I finished 67 credits (quarterly academic system) wih a GPA of 3.67.
I think my my math grades help me a lot. I received 4.0 for all calculus series.
Before transfer, I will have obtained 99 credits. Good luck to you!

Got accepted into computer science!! Junior transfer! :D

Congrats Tiquicia! :)

Admitted to DGS, i have a few questions what grade do you need to get classes to transfer. Do C’s transfer? I was thinking of taking calc 3 and physics 2 over the summer just to transfer them over if C’s get accepted. I will be going into my sophmore year. I also have a question will uiuc only look at my first year at uni gpa or also my CC gpa if i want to transfer into engineering my junior year

If you’re planning on transferring into engineering then you would have to get an A in both calc 3 and physics 2 as those are the core classes. UIUC would look at both GPAs cause you need to submit the transcripts from all the colleges that you attended. Besides, it looks kind of bad on your transcript if you received a C in a class taken at a CC…

On a different note, was anyone able to sign up for class registration? I checked on the admitted students checklist and it said that we should get an email about it but so far I haven’t gotten anythign

Not yet.
I’m waiting for FA package before I send in my enrollment fee.
Has anyone received their FA package yet?

Ill be taking calc 3 and physics 2 over the summer that’s why. Calc 3 i can get an A but not sure about physics 2

@Uofidreamer did you already set up your NetID, Enterprise password, etc…? If so, class registration starts in April. You can sign in to Enterprise and choose registration eligibility and there it should say your time and date to register for classes.
On the other hand, I know that some people register over the summer in like introduction week or something. If you have any other questions let me know.
Hope this helped.

Tiquicia, thanks! Yeah, I set everything up. I heard, though, that new students are supposed to attend orientation first in order to register, but maybe that’s just for incoming freshmen.

Tiquicia, just wondering, what is the date for you to register?

Now that I think about it it will probably be different for me because I am already doing this semester at UofI (exchange program), so my class registration is April 15th… On the other hand I believe registration is normally before classes start or over the summer. I have a friend who is a freshman and told me he did registration over the summer, but that it is optional, if you cannot attend you can do it online.
