I’ve been checking daily as well. I’ve been requested a syllabus and sent that in but other than that nothing. I’m applying for Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences as my first major then just general studies as my backup.
A 3.5 will get you in to DGS. Don’t bank on transferring from General studies into popular engineering majors (CS, ECE, BME, MechE) or business school. Those are very difficult to get into.
@asianfang yeah I’m not betting on it, Im not sure what Im going to major in yet but I doubt it’ll be any of those @teleportzhu Same!! I sent my syllabus in about three weeks ago and Ive just been patiently waiting on a update
I am applying to astro & CS, and alternative of astro, I saw some claimed admitted at around late February in the thread of fall 2016. Will they start give the offer about the same time this year?
There is another transfer for fall 2017 thread and some people got admitted in early January. I also got admitted as a junior this tuesday (2/14) and I submitted the app on 1/25. Good luck to you guys!
Completed my application Feb. 20th. I’ve been meticulously checking my status, but I haven’t heard anything back yet. I’m applying to CS in COE as first choice and CS + Statistics in LAS. Really hope I get in. Anyone else applying to CS?
What are my chances of getting into the DGS overall as a student I would say everything is mediocre. High school gpa was a 3.04 a couple of honors course included and former member of the French honors society. I’m currently at freshman at Bradley university with a 3.0 gpa involved in a variety of clubs ( black excellence club, French club, American Sign Language club, fashion and design) 22 ACT score. Essay was pretty good wrote about wanting to start my own line of hair, skin, and nail products as well as create my own art for branding and advertising.
I have been waiting for my time to come on such a thread forever.
Major: Mechanical engineering.
GPA: 3.822. (based on 45 credits)
Credits: 60 (including the 15 credits am doing at the moment) Only 4 credits are Gen ed’s
EC’s: Peer tutor, a member of the science club.
Applied on January 30.(priority)
Solid: Essay
Toefl:101 (took it 2 years ago before arriving in the US)
International, but I study at a CC in Illinois.
I haven’t heard yet, but I don’t feel too optimistic since Meche is a close second to CS in terms of difficulty in getting in.
Hi, my application is currently under review after i submit it on the 23rd february (my transcripts have arrived earlier). I’m applying as an international student to transfer from Malaysia, but the university informed that my high school transcript was not included in it.
I have emailed the admission office to check specifically which high school transcript was missing because i am positive i included everything in it. Is there anyone who could help me figure out this problem? Should i ask my school to send again using mail or just through email?
@wolffa Call admission office since you don’t have plenty of time left. I don’t think you have enough time to send them by mail, so by email (if they accept it by email) will be faster. Lastly, sending it by mail is still an option since I don’t think they won’t accept a transcript that is late for a couple of days.
Hey I’m Arianna. I was accepted into COE for civil engineering on Monday. I’m still jittery
Will anyone be attending Admitted Student Days on March 31st? I’ll be there!
When was your application marked complete? Mine was complete on the 13 of February, still, priority since they took a long time to update my status. Lastly when and how did your receive your decision
Hey @EngineEstein I submitted my application around January 15th. Maybe even later because they had to update my status too. I made it by the priority deadline.
You find out you got in my clicking on your application on myillini. I honestly wasn’t expecting it and was at work when I found out. Heh, I had to step outside for a few minutes.
