I am an Illinois resident and am deciding between these two schools. I am very unsure which way to go. I have lived in Chicago for a long time, and I enjoy the city and am not necessarily dying to get away or anything.

I am not a hardcore sports guy but the Big Ten atmosphere is appealing. I am also not much of a partier. Did not do much at all in high school, so that's a bit intimidating but I'd like to party in college some. Not too sure what I want to major in. The schools are even financially for me so that's not a factor.

Thinking about finance, and I know the business is strong at UIUC, but Depaul's business school is also very strong from what I've been told. Plus, they have Chicago firms all around them and I've heard internships are great at Depaul. I'm sure they are at UIUC too though, but having Chicago seems like a plus. I think most people view UIUC as stronger overall.

Part of me doesn't want to sell myself short by going to Depaul. But then again, I feel like I wouldn't be since they are both good schools. Having lots of mixed thoughts and could use some feedback regarding anything about either school. Thanks
