<p>Anyone having info regarding civil engineering in these two colleges kindly help me out. Some professors of a certain college said that for civil engg. UIUC is much better than GaTech. Don't know how true that is......</p>

<p>UIUC is ranked #1 for Civil engineering by US News so I would say it does have an excellent reputation. I don’t think GA Tech is in the top 20.</p>

<p>GaTech is about 3000-5000 $ cheaper but if there is a considerable difference then it wouldn’t matter…</p>
