UIUC vs IIT for Computer Engineering/Science?

Hiyas. I'm currently a High School senior having trouble deciding which college to go to.

Currently, with the scholarships and grants given by IIT, I'd have to take out approximately 6K in loans per year. I was accepted into the Computer Science major, which was my first choice. It's also relatively close by, since I live in Chicago.

On the other hand, UIUC's College of Engineering accepted me for their Computer Engineering program, which has a very high ranking in the nation. However, the net costs that I will incur are going to hover around 25K/year.

The only factors in which I am considering for my decision are Tuition Cost, Ranking/Reputation, Quality of Education, Job Opportunities (both before and after graduation), starting salaries, scholarship opportunities while attending, and industry connections. Both of those majors are fine with me (since I'm passionate about both). Student Life/activities/fun/etc are not priorities.

What are your thoughts? Which college will allow for an advantage in terms of securing a job and obtaining a higher starting salary? Which is the best "Bang for your Buck?"

You won’t go wrong with either one. IIT has a very high ROI and UIUC graduates in Engineering and Computer Science are probably much the same. Being a professor at IIT and a graduate of UIUC, I think both schools will give you a fine education so my general advice is go where your ultimate debt or costs are lower unless you have a specific reason otherwise.
