My son is accepted, to first year engineering at Purdue and to Chemical engineering at UIUC, as an international student.
He is also on priority wait-list at CMU for chemical engineering.
At the moment he is leaning towards UIUC, but may choose CMU if he gets accepted there.
- how is the chemical engineering program at these universities with respect to faculty, research and courses?
- how are the opportunities for internships and placements?
- lastly, how is the social atmosphere?
- any other things to consider?
