Hi! I am an International student and aim to pursue my undergraduate engineering in either Civil engineering or Industrial engineering. I have got admitted to UCLA, Purdue and UIUC. Please arrange these universities in descending order. I do not have a problem with the cost but job prospects are a priority. I would also like to enjoy my time at college so the university whose engineering course is least demanding would suit me better but this is secondary.

Thanks

Engineering will generally be demanding, but a strong student should have a reasonable social life. (Just don’t take all of your lab and project courses in the same semester.)

All of these schools are good. Remember, though, that you may not necessarily be able to get a work visa in the US after graduation, so be sure to consider how choice of school affects your employment prospects in your home country. Within the US, each school does have some greater attraction to employers in its region, so if you are interested in working in the US (being aware that getting a work visa is not guaranteed and is probably hard to get), consider which region of the US you would be most interested in.

UCLA doesn’t offer Industrial Engineering, so you would probably be better off at Purdue or UIUC so that you can keep your options over whether to do Industrial or Civil

Actually all we have to do is choose a middle school, because the ‘least demanding’ list and the ‘most prestigious’ list would be inverted from one another.
