UIUC vs UCLA (Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering)

<p>I'm an international applicant and I've been accepted to both colleges for computer engineering (though it may even be EE). I need to decide where I should go. All the ranking tables show that UIUC is better, but I've also been told that life in UCLA is awesome+its Los Angeles!</p>

<p>Please give me your opinions about both of these colleges. Cost isn't a factor coz im an international.
Please include all points from life, academics, fun, location, and anything else you have in mind.

<p>I would say since you are an international students UCLA. Warm weather, amazing nightlife, and amazing engineering program. There are more tech companies in California also to try and work at.</p>

<p>Umm why isn’t cost a factor ? UCLA is significantly expensive than UIUC. Go with UIUC.</p>

<p>well, cost is a factor, but i want to consider other things like the quality of the program, the location and stuff like that before cost.</p>
