UIUC vs UCLA for Computer Science Undergraduate Degree

Hi! I am an International Student and have been accepted into UCLA and UIUC (and also into GaTech and Texas at Austin) for Computer Science. I am trying to decide between UCLA and UIUC. I would really appreciate your help on which one I should choose.

Factors which are important to me:
1) Reputation (in and outside US)
2) Strength of Computer Science Department
3) Housing
4) Food
5) Diversity
6) Social Life - but not much of a party person
7) Internship opportunities

Finally, for an undergraduate degree, is it more important to go to a university that is good for the subject you are majoring in or is more reputed worldwide.

Thank you!

Illinois easily. Better rep, lower costs, fewer distractions.

???
why did you eliminate UT and GT?

I say Georgia Tech, even though you eliminated it, Georgia Tech is the best engineering school out of all and is most well known in the engineering field. UIUC and UT and UCLA all have great engineering programs but Georgia Tech has the best out of them. UIUC has a 71% acceptance rate and UT and Georgia have about a 50%, UCLA has a 25% acceptance rate only because every single person in California applies to the UC’s.

UIUC = GT for engineering.

And if you want to move out of engineering UIUC has FAR more good options than GT.

In industry, beyond MIT, it is UIUC, which is underestimated. Go to their websites.

1 - EVEN
2 - UIUC
3, 4, 5, 6 - UCLA
7 - UIUC

Then decide. I would go to UCLA BECAUSE you are an international student.
