<p>both schools are well-respected for their science programs, and i’ve known about UIUC’s chemistry department for years. any small differences between the two aren’t going to make or break your med school application. find things you like about the SCHOOLS at this point; you can go to med school from any major with the appropriate coursework (which all schools provide anyway) but really, college is a little too valuable to focus on academics alone.</p>
