Basically I'm the guy who figured out how important GPA is too late. My dream school is UIUC and I live in Kentucky. I love Illinois and plan to work there as entry-level trader after a bachelor's degree in Finance.

I'm guessing I have no chance at all, basically because my strengths are interpersonal and not shown well on paper and ink.

I'm going to visit September the 29th. Am I a lost cause?

If so, here I come UK. =/

so I'm guessing everyone is saying I fail? haha

It is very unlikely to be admitted with your current credentials. You might want to check out different schools.

Have you thought about the Springfield campus? You'd be much more of a match there.

I looked at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the Illinois Institute of Technology aswell.

I've heard that UIC is a commuter school and doesn't really offer the "college lifestyle" so that kind of deters me from applying. Any thoughts on that?

Also, is it true that IIT has a training program that specializes in training individuals for the trading industry?
