I particularly want to apply to Cambridge =) yup that's the only one Im gonna apply to and the rest will all be universities in the US
but I am REALLY REALLY CONFUSED...

Ok so we all submit the following
SAT I/ACT
SAT II subject tests
AP

and then are we supposed to take any other tests?
for instance the CIE
Cambridge international examinations??

or other stuff???

so we submit through UCAS
and we don't go on Cambridge or any other college's website to apply or anything?
and no paperwork? all electronic???

sorry Im just really confused by this thing =P

The Cambridge and Oxford deadlines have already passed (October 15.) However, if you want to apply next year you need to make a UCAS account and you can enter your ACT/SAT scores there, as well as your APs. It’s all electronic, except I believe some courses ask that you submit additional work samples, but you can find this on the course section on Oxbridge’s websites. Hope this helps!

Okay, I’m glad you didn’t miss the deadline then =) That would have been really sad, especially since it would have only been by like a day or two! Another thing I forgot to mention is that Cambridge is uses a collegiate system, so you apply to your selected college instead of the actual university.

For some specific subjects, additional tests or submitted work are required (you understand that in the UK in general you apply to study one specific subject and it is difficult or impossible to switch later). Information about these in on the Cambridge web-site in the section relating to each subject.

yes
no you don’t. UCAS is in charge of admissions to all UK universities. Compared to the US it’s easy and mindless. one app, sam e for all.
For UCAS, yes. As noted above, for specific subjects Cambridge may ask for futher tests or examples of your written work at a later date, which you may or may not submit on paper (I suspect most people now submit these electronically too). I didn’t have to do this myself, so I don’t know. if you are asked for such things, no doubt you will get instructions.
