UK Master's programs- Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, SOAS

I'm amazed they don't require any entrance exams, only grades, a writing sample and recs. How hard would a program in social anthropology be to get into for somebody with a 3.5 GPA at a top 10 US university?

Oxbridge usually ask for at least a good 2.1 degree, which is something like a 3.5 in the US. Sometimes however, they ask for an 1.1 which is a GPA 3.7-9. There are plenty of HYP grads in both Oxford and Cambridge.

And while Oxbridge do not ask for GRE, in some cases, it asks for exams. But in social anthropology I think there are no such exams. The basic reason why I ended up in Oxbridge, and not in a US equivalent is the GRE :D
