Why are there no sub-forums for UK schools?

And, for the best undergrad universities for polisci majors, would Oxford University make top 5 internationally? Cambridge? Any international school?

This is an American forum. Oxford & Cambridge are usually in the top 5-10 worldwide; easily making the top 5 from outside of America.

Hey, in the UK you do just one subject for 3-4 years. If you are looking at politics, at Oxford, this would be PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) and at Cambridge this would be SPS (Social and Political Sciences) -- as you can see there is no polisci at Oxford so to speak, but you may like to consider both courses, look at the websites and see the course content/structure and decide which is for you. Both are well respected, Oxford PPE has a rep for training up world leaders and I've no idea what SPS is famous for. Also, the feel in both Unis geography+size wise is different--if you want more info on what the Unis are like, PM me.

There is a UK forum very similar to this. College confidential won't allow links directly to it but it is
the student room .co .uk
just remove the spaces

There are also many, many threads on this board about UK schools. Note that "school" in the UK actually finishes at 18. So search for "university" if you are googling them.

There is one common application form for all UK universities. It's at
www.ucas.com
You can fill it in online and it's that easy. You can only apply to 6 schools maximum, you can't apply to both Oxford and Cambridge and you must specify a subject when you apply. That's it (and there is no financial aid but if you are an EU student you are treated as if you were a UK student, not an international).
