UK Schools and Testing

Is there a different standardized test that applicants take for the UK schools? Is the GRE necessary/sufficient or is some other test necessary? The programs I'd be interested in are the M.Phil programs. Thanks.

Most UK schools do not require a GRE, but will look over the scores if you have them. Of course, some programs do ask that you send GRE scores, but these are the exception - not the rule.

As far as I know - the UK doesn’t require any additional tests for most MPhil programs. If you are not a native English speaker they ask for your TOEFL scores and that is about it.

The colleges in the UK (Oxbridge, LSE, Warwick, Imperial, UCL and LBS) dont require GRE/GMAT for Social Science courses such as International Relations, Law, Politics, History and etc but require GRE and GMAT for courses in business (finance, management, and accounting and finance). But for Oxbridge, they require interview.

Great thanks a lot
