UM chances

What are my chances for the university of michigan?
I applied Jan 3 and have been going crazy waiting to hear back. It's my number one choice, and I have let them know that.. so I really really want to get in.

I had a good freshman year, but kinda bad soph and jr years; like 3.3 unweighted for each. I've been working a lot harder this year though and have like 3.85 unweighted for my sr year. I have let them know about my big improvements and they also have my midyear report. Even with the improvements this year my unweighted gpa for all four years is only 3.5 and weighted is 3.93.

class rank 107/571
a friend of mine has a 3.99 and is like 30 spots ahead of me so maybe one more quarter and I could be in the 70s or so

couple AP and CHS classes, the rest honors

sat
1360/1600
1980/2400

played varsity lacrosse
cashier job
lawn jobs
really really interested in film (intended major in LSA) so I've made some promotional videos for a local company for trade shows and to go in their packaging and stuff
also make videos on my own all the time just for fun and for contests and stuff
take the tv production class at my school and do the announcements
NHS
Key Club
volunteer stuff
on a 6 student committee that meets with the superintendent periodically to "talk about issues" in the school. (nominated by principal and teachers)
did a film camp at a local university

so what do you think the chances of me getting in are?
I'm going crazy waiting and I can only check wolverine access so many times a week... so this gave me something else to do to get my UM out for the day. thanks

any thoughts?

somebody… please?

Don’t worry about it!! Your SAT is fine and it looks like you’ve participated in many EC’s. Also, I think that your interest in film will stand out as something unique among the thousands of LSA applicants. Just keep in touch with the admissions officer and let him or her know how passionate you are about being a Wolverine (I would recommend sending a “desire” letter explaining your interest in detail). If you live out-of-state, it is much harder to get into UM, but I think you have a good chance. Good luck! Let me know if you have questions.
