um...favorite word...?

lol..spiffystars.....you just "came across" the word cathedral for the first time today?

RBallard14:
Obviously not. I meant "came across" as in by chance, or happenstance. I was reading my AP Art History text and noticed the word as if I had noticed it for the first time. I noted its pleasant, soothing sound. I'm not an idiot. I have heard the word many times before.

"coagulation," for some strange reason...

Hehe. When I apply, I'm gonna go with 'accepted' :) Or 'odiferous'. :)

meniscus

Love it!

microlambert

I was going for a Latin word, but figured English would be more appropriate. This was 2nd on my "shortlist".

I put falafel last year. Say it a few times quickly, and you'll see why... amusement ensues. It made the top of my list just ahead of shawarma. :D

susurrus... or how about 'albeit' ?

I put "hello"......

weltanschauung

albeit was also on the short list. ;)

yesteryear.

very dreamy, no?
