Um, I never got a PIN number

I submitted my supplement, submitted my app, sent my teacher recs, sent my counselor rec, sent my SAT scores. When I paid for it, the receipt in my email said that I should be expecting it in the mail. Well I never got one, and I never really thought about it until recently when I heard people talking about PIN numbers. Please tell me I’m not screwed. Or else I"m going to be *ing *ed off.

did you not get a confirmation letter? You should call the office soon to figure out what your applicant status is.

No I dont' think I did. I neve really thought about it. Was there anything else I was supposed to do????

Yes, the PIN is important. I would call them ASAP. You should have no problem getting it, though.

wait, on second though, i did get a confirmation letter. i just forgot. sorry. i'm just frustrated/tired/depressed/nervous.

Now I just gotta get to finding that letter. Thanks for the quick replies and help, guys.

BTW, can you italicize and bold or not? You used to be able to on the old boards, but I haven't figured out how to do it here. Is it possible?

AHH! Tell your guidance counselor tommorrow. I think my letter got lost in the mail, but I sent an email to get my PIN and called the office. You need to do this right away! The postal service sucks.

Send an e-mail to admpin@fas.harvard.edu with the subject line "Pin". Be sure to send it from the e-mail you put on your application.

Nah, I don't really care anymore. I was scared my application didn't get processed. If I find my PIN number, great. If not, oh well. Do I really need it for anything else?

Did you get an interview? If so, you're fine. If not, that's bad...

You might want to send the e-mail just so you can check your application status (make sure everything is in). It's too late to do anything about it now, but at least you'd know.

Yes I got an interview as well. No, I'm not worried anymore. I'm happier not knowing =D.
