I'm an "average" student who wants to apply for some reason.
How much does being in state increase my chances?

check the program's site. it will usually say whether preference is giving to in-state students or not.

certain programs that do prefer in-state: NEUOCOM, UMKC, UCinn, etc.

certain programs that don't prefer in-state: Pitt, NW, Brown (I think on last two)

"average".... what does that mean? Instate helps, but not that much.

um sorry but being average doesn't cut it for med programs. We need some numbers.
