um...UCLA just called me?

How weird is that! So the phone rings and I look at call display and it says UCLA Telecom or something, and I freak out thinking that they're calling me to tell me that something went wrong and I'm like rejected or some ****. I pick up the phone tentatively and this girl asked for me, then I'm like yeah...and if you got the call you know the rest.

I think it's pretty cool that they get fourth-year students to call you and ask you if you have any questions. I asked her about what the campus was like (she said that everyone walks and there's not as many bikes as in UC Davis haha), and how the dorms were and the food and what the surrounding area was like, blah blah. She also asked me if UCLA was my top choice haha (was not =/).

What a fantastic idea...whoever came up with this phone call thing.

dunno if any of you ever got accepted into UOP, but their phone calling was HELLA persistent... but they were nice, friendly, and helpful people

*p.s. i only use "hella" on extreme occassions as i'm from socal

I didn't apply to UOP. And well, I only applied to Cal, Davis, and SD. And no phone calls from Davis or SD...just millions of postcards from Davis...

I guess I don't get a call because I already sent in my SIR?

Minnesota and Iowa gave me phone calls...Minnesota was totally awesome. But I'm going to UCLA. :P
