Um...

Yeah, so I applied early action to my first choice school: MIT. After I sent everything in, and I thought everything was well and dandy, I found out that I forgot to mention an AP class that I am taking this year in my self-reported course work. Do you guys think this is going to affect my admissions?

Ps. I sent an E-mail to the college telling them about it. Do you guys think that it's appropriate?

I think an Email is pretty much the only way to tell them about it, aside from calling them personally. I don't think it'll affect admissions very much...I wouldn't stress about it too much. Just make sure you tell them exactly what you left out, and you'll be fine.

Agreed. Are you taking this class online or just at a separate school?

It's actually at my school. I filled out my classes using past transcripts, seeing as how my current grades are not sent out yet, I kinda forgot to include it.

No big deal. Really. Congrats on getting into MIT.

Doesn't the counselor include the classes you are currently taking? You may want to talk to them about it to see if they did or not.

haha thanks. I wish I was in already, but I'll have to wait until mid December

Good call of the counselor thing, I'll have to check with her on that
