A little bit late here, but my son was accepted RD on Feb 27 into the CAS. We are OOS (California). Very excited for him, as it’s one of his two top choices! Good luck to everyone still waiting.
It seems like it could be in waves or in patterns by location and college. It seems like the only RD people who have received decisions are OOS students into CAS. I haven’t heard of any other majors getting accepted so far.
What is CAS?
^^College of Arts and Sciences
@klinska Thanks!
I’m so anxious for my admission decision. UMass is one of my top schools because I absolutely love the campus and the academics. I could really spend four years in UMass.
Transferring from a community college, I have a 3.42 GPA so I think I’m good but you never know. I just want to know if I’ve been accepted or not ahhhhhhh
Has anyone instate who applied to Isenberg heard anything yet?
It may be time again to suggest that you review post #11 of this thread. Good luck to all.
Accepted into the Isenberg School of Management! Instate, 3.85 GPA, 1370 SAT, decent extracurriculars, community service.Really thought there was a good chance I wasn’t going to get in
@ciara2021 when did you apply?? I’m also instate waiting to hear back from Isenberg but I was under the impression they didn’t send decisions until late march
The portal says my application was completed on January 11th. And on the portal it said that decisions started going out early March. Acceptance was dated March 2nd, also says on the portal that it updates overnight.
Has anyone who applied regular decision heard back yet?
Posting on the behalf of my brother who got into Isenberg last night
@oxyself I am also in the CS exploratory track. You need a B+ or higher in CS 121, 187 and Math 131, 132. Then you have to submit an application. Your pretty much going to get into the major if you get above a B+ and keep a 3.0 GPA overall.
Do they post decisions at any certain time? Like day or night? Is it worth checking on weekends?
Thanks!
In-state applying to CAS. Status of application changed from “complete” to “under review.”
@noelle2017 they only update once a day, at midnight, so no point checking more than once a day. Don’t know if they update over the weekend, though.
question for you guys: on a whim today i logged on to check my app status and when i clicked on the link that said “under review (click here for more info)” the page that came up said rd for fall term would be released from mid-march to april…
is this a recent change or has it always been this way?
@Faultystart I was going to ask a similar question too. For those who applied rd and are yet to hear back, does the “under review” status (which I have had since applying) legitimately mean that the application is under consideration, or could a decision have already been made?
Or is there a totally different status for that?
