@klinska wow, that’s very very late, especially since most schools (I think including umass) have a May 1st deposit/reply deadline. let’s hope they improve this year! and thank you for clarifying where the decision actually shows up.

I just got my acceptance today, but I haven’t received my finaid! Also, are we going to be sent acceptance packets or is that after we get our financial aid? The online portal said that we can print our decision if we want…

I got my financial aid. It’s on spite under estimated cost of attendance.
I applied regular decision. Since people are hearing back and I haven’t, does that mean i most likely did not get in?

@ilovetacos21 absolutely not. We are just at the beginning of the time period when decisions are expected to be released. I hope they get them all out before the end of April, but the schedule on Spire said they begin releasing mid-March and continue through April. In past years there has been a lot of speculation about how the decisions are released, and maybe there is some secret algorithm they are using, but basically it just looks to be random. I don’t think there are enough data points here on CC to be able to identify any pattern or trend. Take a look at past years’ threads–it’s eye opening.
