@chdmom thank you! No! I did find under financial aid section ‘there is no financial aid info found’ or something like that. He got into the Paul Business School at UNH and they’re offering $36k!!! I’ll email the financial aid office at Umass tomorrow to see if I’m missing something. UGH!!
Accepted into the Honors college for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a 2k/year dean’s scholarship!!!
@nancyjo67 Did you go to the letter and read what’s below that? I didn’t check financial aid. I assume that will come out later. D got accepted to UNH, too, with a great award (we are in NH). So excited to find out how it all plays out.

HC at UMASS is very exclusive! I’m also pretty sure it depends on your major and not just individual stats (more competitive majors means more exclusive HC). I have in-state friends with 3.8-4.0 gps and 1500+ SATs who were not accepted to the HC this isn’t meant anyone just putting the info out for anyone who wants it! Congrats to everyone accepted! I forgot to mention that I was accepted in state.

how do you know your activation code for the account?
@whatall we are in Mass and do not see anything additional. I went to the absolute bottom of the page of acceptance letter. Nothing. I did just email the financial aid office though. Am very curious. Was hoping for some award or aid.
@chdmom ty we did - nothing there about any awards or aid. found the financial aid tab in the portal but said it wasn’t available but we don’t know if that means information coming later or no money available. It’s confusing seeing other posts with award money listed.
Hang in there, @nancyjo67 and @whatall. Hopefully, it’ll all work out. I think admissions might be the first line of contact, since they award the merit scholarships. Good luck to you!
