@bklyngirl312 @katbelle16 You should feel very proud! The nursing program at UMass has a very low acceptance rate. My daughter is a freshman nursing student there.
I got accepted RD to UMass’s College of Social and Behavioral Science with a 10k scholarship (out of state).
3.9 UW/GPA and 4.3 W/GPA
16 honors/college/AP courses
1110 on the SAT
I held quite a few leadership positions in over 10 extracurriculars throughout HS and I’ve competed in events on an international scale.
Accepted RD with 12k scholarship (OOS)
3.35 UW/1550 SAT
Research, 600-ish hours volunteering, Art, Cross-country/track, Debate, no leadership positions or awards
chance me for applying today? 1310 SAT 94 GPA athlete and international relations major, out of state, applying for aid… is it too late to apply??
my daughter still hasn’t heard, anybody know if decisions are still going out? They said end of March but most people we know have already heard back. She is a nursing applicant.
In-state here. Accepted and invited to honors college. Biology focus. 1520 sat, good but not great gpa. Summer experiences interning in a couple of UMass Biology labs. Strong LGBT and peer leadership ECs.
Invited to apply to BIOTap but that is still pending.
@lisag519 Is your daughter living in the nursing RAP?
@sophiewmaine114 I’m not sure there is any downside in trying
@katbel Yes, she is, Kennedy Hall 21st floor!
I just got accepted as a transfer student. Does anyone know how long it takes to get your full financial aid package? Thanks!!
I’m still waiting for my transfer decision. Can I ask when you applied, and what your stats are? I have a lot riding on this school.
