Mail, I called the office last night and they said that they don’t send emails. You have to check your spire account or get a physical letter.
The decisions will be posted on spire??? When??

I received my letter acceptance to UMass Amherst-- Honors College today!! It was all dated from the 15 of December, so I hope everyone else hears soon 
@trackcheer2016 - where are you located? We are in MA and have not heard anything… Can you give the exact wording of your letter please?

I am in CT and I received a folder of info with my acceptance letter into the Class of 2020 for my major and then a second for the Honors College
@trackcheer2016 - please forgive us for being suspicious, as it is often the case on these threads that someone comes in with few or zero posts, and claims to have received an acceptance a few days ahead of schedule. If you actually received this, please give exact text of your letter(s), give your stats and what major you applied to, etc. I am a teacher and a mother, live in MA not more than three days of mail from Amherst, and I find your story dubious without more details.
My D was accepted today also!!! Major is Food Science. Also invited to Honors College. Received big envelope in mail, dated December 15, so I guess they are starting to send out. Received Chancellor’s Award $10k/yr (3 letters total in folder package). I post in Parents 2016, and have posted in other colleges as well (D has been accepted to 3 other colleges also). D’s acceptance is legit!
GPA 4.0, SAT 1880, out of state. The usual APs, a few college classes, some leadership.
Definitely a top two contender as we have been reading up on their rankings for Food Science major. We’ll definitely be visiting for admitted students day.

Looks like everyone who was accepted today was part of the honors college program so maybe only honors college decisions were released? My portal still says under review (I didn’t apply to honors college)
was anyone accepted that wasn’t part of the honors college. Also, for people that were admitted, did your portal update?
@nikeluv and @nsliyromanov - Nope, the spire has not been updated yet. Best of luck to all. I did not expect D to receive any news until end of December. A nice surprise.
Hopefully they’ll be released this upcoming week… Anticipation is killing me !!
I have been following the threads on each of the schools my daughter was applying to for over a year. I never signEd in or posted until this morning. I did so because I know how anxious the process can be and I wanted to let everyone know that the letters have indeed started to go out. My daughter got 3 different letters in a big envelope yesterday. One was the acceptance, one was for the honors program, and one was for a Deans scholarship. We are in Massachusetts. Portal did not yet update - still says under review. There is no separate application for the honors college - you are invited to the program.
Congratulations to everyone who received honors college invite so far. We are in NY. Haven’t heard yet. Expecting to be admitted but hoping for honors college too.
