Is the UMASS admissions department that far behind in looking at applications? I noticed on their website that the “minuteman for a day” dates were supposed to be uploaded by “early February”…well it’s almost early March…I guess that new admissions staff is really challenged…

Your rd decision came already? Are they out?
I heard from HS guidance counselor yesterday that the RD’s were going out today. But then again, if EA deadline was 11/1, and you had people submitting 11/2 - 1/15 - will take time for all of that to get sent out. There doesn’t appear to be much activity posting here on accepts vs, say UCONN where my S received his admit. I would also assume the major you’re applying to influences speed in admit decisions…
Ok thank you. Yes i didn’t apply till the end of December so I guess that means I won’t hear till the end of March/April. I know they were very delayed on the early decisions this year so I was just surprised to hear someone had received a decision

My Daughter got accepted by snail mail on Friday, March 11-large white packet in the mail. 8k per year scholarship-Out of State. Applied 2 days after early decision, I think Nov 17th. Physics major.
@Bonacspud Congrats to your daughter! it’s surprising to see how behind the admission committee is on decissions though, hopefully RD applicants won’t have to wait until May…
